Ingredients & Directions

Ingredients:

Nettle leaf*, lemon balm**, milky oat tops, oatstraw, alfalfa leaf**, dandelion leaf*, pinch of peppermint**

* Locally wildcrafted
** Locally-grown by organic farmer/gardener

Directions for Use:

Depending on your preference, use 1-2 tablespoons of dried herbs for each cup of water, or 4-6 tablespoons of herb per quart of water. Steep dried herbs in hot boiled water (quart mason jar works well), rather than simmering herbs, for at least 20-45 minutes. The more dried herbs you use and the longer you steep, the stronger the tea! Steep overnight for a powerful infusion—a great way to start the day. Sun Tea can be made by placing herbs and water in a glass jar and setting the jar directly in hot sunlight for several hours. Tea can be drunk hot, warm, room temperature, or cool. Once brewed, drink fresh, leave out for only a few hours, or store in a refrigerator. Make a quart or two of tea at a time to share with friends and family, or to drink throughout the day! To restore your nervous system and infuse yourself with potent minerals, drink three to four cups daily. For acute ailments, feel welcome to add antiviral or antimicrobial herbs (reach out for suggestions) and take several sips every thirty minutes until symptoms subside.
